Penny's Fan Club

Penny has a fan club! Whenever I am coming or going from the house after school hours or on the weekends I hear a chorus of girls scream PENNY! If Penny is not with me, the girls beg me to bring her outside so they can see her. One of the girls asked if Penny could come to her birthday party and another girl bought pug dog webkin named it Penny! Last Haloween all of the neighborhood kids came over to see Penny in her halloween cosutme. We love our pug dog and are glad our neighborhood kids love her too!

Owens trip to Utah

While mom and dad were hiking in Escalante I flew to Utah to be spoiled by my all my relatives. I spent my time at Nana's investigating every nook and cranny of her house. I even conned my Nana, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Lane into taking me to the zoo for the very first time. I also hung out with my Grandma and Grandpa Green who also love to spoil me. Thanks family, I miss you so much.

Escalante Hike

This past weekend we went on a backpacking trip. I was a bit apprehensive at first, I was not sure if carrying everything I needed to survive in a backpack was for me but it ended up being one of the funnest trips I have been on. The weather was perfect, the scenery amazing and the company of our friends the Olson's made it that much more fun. It was challenging, relaxing and at some points a little scary. But worth it!

Swimming Lessons

April was a busy month for us so I am going to try and catch up on some blogging. On April 19th was Owens first swimming lesson. He jumped right in with no fear! The water was a little cool but he did not seem to mind. He LOVED the watering can the instructor provided and got really mad when she tried to take it away. It was a great experience and we are looking forward to our lesson this week. (We missed last weeks lesson due to Jared and I's hiking adventure and Owens trip to Nana's. A day at the Park

These pictures are from a fun day at the park about a month ago. My friend's sister took a bunch of pictures of the kids that day and I just recieved them,thankyou Ash. The weather has been perfect for park days, we are taking full advantage before the sizzling heat begins.

COUSINS!

This first picture is of Evan and Owen last year during the spring and then this year. The boys are about 6mo. apart and so cute together.

These are Jared's sisters kids. She and her husband came to visit us last year in Reno and then again this year. We hope to see them next year too!
