We had a great Christmas Day relaxing at home. Usually we are visiting family running back and forth like crazy but this year we decided to make the visit the day after. This year was also really fun to see Owens face (adorable) when he saw the toys under the tree. He froze with a smile on his face as I tried to coax him over to his gifts. When I told him they were from Santa, he yelled "NO" so I told him they were from Mom and Dad and he ran over to the tree.

Owen's meeting with Santa
A few days before Christmas we went to see Santa.
1. Me trying to convince Owen to sit on Santa's lap.
2. Me pulling Owen closer and Owen trying as hard as he could to pull away.
3. Owen happily taking candy from Santa but still refusing to get any closer.

Snowing like Crazy in VEGAS!?
Yes today it is snowing like crazy! It also snowed on Monday and actually accumulated 3 inches on the ground in some areas such as Summerlin which is about as far west from the strip you can get. Today it is forecast for a possible 10 inches in some places! Even the strip was snowed on today! Snow has not stuck to the strip since 1979 according to the news. The airport was closed tonight and they canceled school for tomorrow. So this is rare and exciting for us to actually see snow and to see it accumulate here. The downside to snow in Vegas is that people already drive like maniacs here and is even worse with snowy weather (Vegas has no snowplows!) so we are staying home and updating the blog for once.

House pics.
Finally, I took some pictures of our house! For anyone who may not know we moved in over Thanksgiving weekend. Jared and two guys from El Salvador (we met at Home Depot) moved all the furniture in and then we did the rest. Thanks again to everyone who helped us move in and out of storage and our first and second rentals here. We are happy to be done moving and mostly settled into our new house.
