Jared and Caleb

August 23rd

Our friends the Whitings came to stay with a couple of times this summer while passing through Las Vegas. Owen and their daughter Valerie have a love/ hate relationship. I thought this was really cute of the two of them on Owen's 4 wheeler. They are happy this moment but just a few minutes before they were fighting over who gets to drive, Owen refused to ride on the back. It was hilarious and surprising that Valerie gave in.

Every morning part of our routine is the "Bye Bye DaDa" as Owen likes to call it. Owen shouts commands to the rest of us to

"come on, come on" and we stand in the door way waving goodbye to Jared as he pulls out of the garage. Well two days ago Caleb became an active participant and started waving too! SOOOOOO Cute!

I added a couple pics of Owen actually wanting to hold Caleb! Normally he refuses to even sit next to him. Owen decided to wear his bike helmet all day that day.

Sneak Preview!

For Christmas I am giving the grandparents professional pictures of the boys. We are also going to get a family pic done but I know the grandparents really only want to see the grandsons so here is the link my friends blog where she posted some of the pics.

Owen was especially cranky and out of sorts after a haircut fiasco so don't be surprised to find smiles few and far between.

This collage is a little rough around the edges. I am just figuring out how to use a new photo editor and I wanted to get something posted after spending way to long trying to learn this new program. I cant help but say how adorable Caleb looks even with orange spray paint all around him.

Owen talks.

The first few days of preschool Owen repeatedly said he wanted to "stay home". Today was the first day he only said that he would "miss ma ma". During play time today a class mate named Luke yelled out the teacher exclaiming " Mrs. Katherine! look Owen actually talks!". Mrs. Katherine thought that was hilarious. Don't worry Luke I was surprised and excited too when he started talking to me.

First Day of Pre School

Owen started Pre-School last week! It was a rough first week but he is adjusting and is having a great second week.
